POSTGRADUATE
Department of Physics is all set to start M.Sc. in Physics program. The program is approved by the Board of Governors and is expected to take admissions from the session 2024-25.
- It is a four-semester (two-year) program consisting of 80 credits in total.
- Students must qualify JAM entrance exam to participate in the admission process.
- This two-year program is intended to provide the basics of physics in the first year and applied aspects of physics in various fields in the second year through electives, projects, and core courses.
- In addition to the employability of the students in different industries, the program is designed in such a way so that students can qualify for various international and national level competitive exams including GRE, GATE, CSIR-JRF, JEST, and other higher-educational entrance exams.
- The students shall learn in-depth in their area of interest through projects of one-year duration.
