On February 8, 2025, Hon'ble Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Secretary, Department of Space (DoS), Dr. V. Narayanan, and Director of the Satish Dhawan Application Centre (SDAC), Shri. A Rajarajan, interacted with the faculty and students of the institute at the Executive Development Centre, MNNIT Allahabad, to discuss the ongoing research and development work of the institute and various R&D schemes of ISRO on the onset of his trip to MahaKumbh 2025. Dr. V Narayanan began by outlining the achievements of ISRO such as mission on Mars, Chandrayan-1, 2, and 3, where India reached the first-ever milestone in history, as well as the goals of ISRO and its accomplishments in the last few years. He underlined that the current government is highly supportive of ISRO in becoming a global leader in space mission launch, including developing G-20 satellite and launching the most foreign satellites, developing a G-20 satellite to address issues like climate change, communication etc. He summed up his remarks by saying that everyone should work to put the organisation and the country before their own accomplishments. Dr. A Rajarajan further emphasised how India has become self-sufficient thanks to the development of various indigenous technology in launching spacecraft. Prof. R.S. Verma, Director MNNIT Allahabad expressed his satisfaction with the interaction. Prof. Ravi Prakash Tiwari, Prof. Abhishek Kumar, Dr. Ramji Dwivedi, Dr. Abhishek Tiwari, Dr. Satish, and Dr. Dheeraj Ahuja were present with their students during this conversation, and they gave the ISRO team an update on the work being done by different research groups
