HABIT-2025, an International Conference on Health and Agricultural Biotechnology: Interdisciplinary Trends (February 28–March 2, 2025), was inaugurated on 28.02.2025. In the inaugural speech Director MNNIT Prof. R. S. Verma emphasized on the beneficial impact of biotechnology on health and agriculture. Prof. Jennifer Ann Harikrishna, University of Malaysia was chief guest of the ceremony. Before this, Convener of HABIT Dr. Ashutosh Mani presented a brief account of upcoming sessions and awards of HABIT-2025. HoD Prof. Manisha Sachan welcomed the guests and introduced them about the department. Dr. Radha Rani delivered vote of thanks. Around 200 guests participated in the conference from different part of the country and world. In the valedictory session that was held on 02.03.2025, HABIT-2025 awards were given.
