Regional Centre for Geodesy, GIS Cell, MNNIT Allahabad has organised a ๐ต๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ต๐บ๐บ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ from 24th -28th March 2025 sponsored by National Geospatial Programme (NGP), DST Govt. of India. The valedictory ceremony of the course was conducted in the presence of countryโs leading Geodesist Maj Gen (Retd) Prof. B. Nagarajan, NCG IIT Kanpur. He delivered the keynote lectures during the workshop as well as communicated the recent development in Geodesy mission under NCG-RCG consortium. Prof D.K. Yadav honoured Prof. Nagarajan for his contribution to the Geodesy mission and encouraging young minds from different part of the country. Dr. Ramji Dwivedi, Coordinator RCG provided brief summary about the course and about ongoing research and development in GIS Cell. He further emphasized that participants are well trained for taking key works in GNSS Geodesy using CORS data by Survey of India. This was the 2nd edition of GNSS course series and overall 7th course in the area of Geodesy. Participants were research scholars from leading national institutions and laboratories, faculty members and scientist such as IITISM Dhanbad, IISER Mohali, Allahabad University, National Institute of Seismology, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology and Survey of India. The course haved featured Dr. Sumanta Pasari, BITS Pilani, Mr. Vipin Maurya, GeoFEM as expert speaker and resource person along with Dr. Ramji Dwivedi, Ms. Shivika Saxena, Mr. Alok kumar and Mr. Sumit Pandey.
